The Team

Dr. Babatunde Adetunji MD. MA. MSc. DPPsych. DipPsychMed. DFAPA. FASAM, FCPP: Specialist in General Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine; Adolescent and Young Adult Psychiatry, Psychopharmacology

  • Dr. Adetunji is a Distinguished Fellow of The American Psychiatric Association. He is Triple Board Certified in USA: General Adult Psychiatry (ABPN), Forensic Psychiatry (ABPN) & Addiction Medicine (ABPM).  He is also Board Certified in Psychiatric Practice and holds Diplomate in Psychological Medicine of The Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ireland. Furthermore, he has Board Certifications in Adolescent and Young Adult Psychiatry (ABAP) as well as Masters in Mental Health Studies from University of London. He is a veritable Expert in Psychopharmacology. Dr Adetunji was trained in Psychiatry in England (At the prestigious Guys and St Thomas’s Hospital, London) as well as in USA (Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia).  He completed his fellowship training in Forensic Psychiatry at the New York University Medical Center. 
  • Dr Adetunji is certified to prescribe Buprenorphine (Suboxone) for opioid addiction. 

Dr. Oluyemisi Adetunji BS, MS & Doctor of Nursing Practice: Practice Focus: General Adult Psychiatry, Adolescent Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine.

  • Dr ‘Yemi is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with diverse educational background in Education, Psychology and Mental illness. She trained as a Psychiatric Nurse at the University of London, Middlesex, England and further trained to be a Doctor of Nursing Practice at Rutgers University New Brunswick. She is passionate about patient care and has worked in the community mental health settings. She has delivered multiple presentations on effects and side effects of psychotropic medications and metabolic syndrome among other things. 
  • Dr 'Yemi's main passion is in the area of de-stigmatization of mental illness and addiction. She loves private practice where she can develop a longitudinal and enduring relationship with her clients. She is an expert in general psychiatric disorders, child and adolescent disorders and addiction medicine. Dr ‘Yemi is licensed to prescribe Suboxone for Medication Assisted Treatment of opioid dependence. Her doctoral dissertation is on Motivational Enhancement Therapy for opioid use disorders

JoAnn Cox

 JoAnn is a medical assistant and secretary for our office. She has years of experience in patient care. She is very organized, and has always displayed a high quality of customer service. She understands the quality of care and will always do her best to treat you like a respectable client at the Executive Center. 

Chae Son

Chae is one of our able administrative assistants. She brings her efficiency and compassion to the Executive Center. She is very approachable and will go to great length to help our clients. Along with JoAnn, the admin secretarial department is well equipped to handle our front-desk and other administrative needs
